How will this play out?

Personally I MIGHT go to Wendy's 1x or 2x max in a year....I just can see people being cool with this but then again SOME people play triple zero roulette :lmao:

Hmmm could be interesting

Some sit down places sort of do that .

They will charge 50% more at night or Mother’s Day and stuff like that for the same exact items that you can get at lunch for much cheaper

Don’t know if I’m for or against this
We will see how it works out

Uber does this also

If you can spend $20 million on an experiment, why do you need to raise your prices?
While funny on the surface

$20 million only represents a small portion of their 204 million net profit from last year

Dynamic pricing is not meant for people in lines who can converse with each other or overhear someone else's pricing.

Can you imagine the skinflints who keep entering the lines to get waited on until they get the pricing that appeals to them. That's just gonna create more congestion and aggravation for both the customers and the clerks. Then you'll get the inevitable people complaining that the guy in front of them got the same item for less because of a split second difference in ordering time.

These days some people will get violent. Try keeping minimum wage workers who have to put up with this havoc and constant price challenges and bitching.

What a shitshow. Good luck making that work.

Had to look up skinflint....good think you didnt use one of the synonyms....lol

Definitions of skinflint. a selfish person who is unwilling to give or spend. synonyms: churl, niggard, scrooge. types: pinchgut. a niggardly person who starves himself (and others)

Dont know if this place is successful or not but I could see the concept being much more applicable here than in a Wendy's for sure.

There is also this company that sells the software and they have been around a while

It was an attempt at a greedy price gouging move.
Problem have so many choices to choose from these days. And the way pricing is up on everything a smart marketing move would be a 2:00 - 4:00 or 8 pm to 10 pm roll the costs back on burgers. They make plenty of profit. Again, blows my mind. Someone go to college 4 years for that marketing degree?

I read that Wendy's was going to be monitored by other fast food burger franchises and were going to copy the idea it meant more profits.
